You are either a RED RAT, a GREEN RAT or a Yale student.

I am a GREEN RAT. The method does not change that.

Learning about the RAT changed my views.

DO NOT TRADE AGAINST THE H1 CANDLE COLOR.

But the H1 candle bias repaints ??

Rat Reversal vs other methods

Postby ewcraigs » Fri Mar 04, 2011 5:07 pm

TRO,

What is the concept besides only being green OR red? Do you stand to lose more if you play both sides? Or, is it more of a mindset?

If something is "trending" down, do you still play the small swings that are usually present in a "downtrend".

Thanks

Have you read this thread?

I usually post the rat experiment quote each week.

Think of it this way... "If you're always trading long, you can't always be wrong." Sooner or later the price will move in your favor.

If price is going down, then I wait for it to go up.

Yes I have, but sometimes it is hard to follow. This is the clearest explanation yet.
/////
Question:
1: What made you decide to be a green rat vs red rat? The fact that the market goes up over the long term?

2: So unless you learn something that makes you change your mind about the rat, you shall never trade short again, right?

3: Do you trade this with futures?

////

Thanks for answering my questions.

RAT ALWAYS TURNED LEFT. LEFT IS UP, RIGHT IS DOWN ON A CHART WHEN YOU WALK DOWN THE TIME LINE.

2: So unless you learn something that makes you change your mind about the rat, you shall never trade short again, right?

I AM A GREEN RAT. I AM NOT A YALE STUDENT.

3: Do you trade this with futures?

I DO NOT TRADE FUTURES.

Scalping, Swing, Long Term

Postby ewcraigs » Sat Mar 05, 2011 5:06 am

TRO,

Appreciate all of your answers.

Is this system scalping only? If yes, how do you trade the markets swing/long term?

Thanks

Trading is TRADING.

One trader's swing is another trader's scalp.

One trader's long term is another trader's short term.

DO NOT CONCERN YOURSELF WITH OTHER TRADERS - FOCUS ON YOURSELF, YOUR PORTFOLIO, YOUR METHOD, YOUR TRADES.
IT'S NOT WHAT YOU TRADE, IT'S HOW YOU TRADE IT!

Tro,
Let us know when you Develop an indicator to trade Futures, some folks like me are strictly Futures traders, and a little help from you will help us out a lot more than you can ever anticipate.
