15 min entry chart,
I missed the 1st entry, but caught the 2nd one.
See what I get in the morning!

It always takes Momentum to break Momentum!

Hi Doji
Thanks for the response. The higher timeframe stuff im ok with.
But to be honest the 15min chart is mystery to me still.
What i believe to be true about 15min:
Rat trade for me is made up 2 x opposite coloured candles on 15min. Entry on break of the high or low depending on direction.
I understand take trade short when price is above 12 ema and visa versa.
What i do not understand:-
(70% sure) i understand your white lines are marking the lows of red candles for trades going short and highs of green candles going long. I noticed you draw some white lines on the opening or close.
are you combining candles down on 15min and using them as one candle like on the higher time frames?
Doji is it possible you could expand bit more on 15min chart im not quite following, due to my lack of not grasping the principles you are following?.
Thanks
BB

One problem I've had with the 'if the higher timeframe bar is closing a certain way that's the way price is going' is this:
The same issue with waiting for a higher TF bar to close a certain way first at a s/d area - sometimes there isn't an inside bar close in the area, sometimes there's just a spike on M15 and it will shoot away. If you wait for an H4 close, by the time you're thinking of entering price has bombed to the other zero line and back. Follow the H4 in hindsight and once again you're getting hammered.

Don't play break outs unless there is one exception you got something obvious to target.

While it may be true that 95-99% of Forex traders fail, 100% of Forex traders who never give up will succeed
