Not moving exactly as planned but when does the market ever??
I did not account for the gap time between Asian session and the Frankfort open. Move the lines over 2hrs and it looks good so far.

+20 so far on the break, Now if we can get a re-test of 00....we'll be good to go.

If we get a break of 00 and a retest, I'm going short.
And yes, I do agree PTG, picking tops/bottoms keeps stops very small and the reward much higher, IF, a big IF you hold for profit.

Is that one of my indicators?

Looks like I misjudged the support strength of the pivot. Looking at hrly chart this morning I can see it took 4 attempts to get through on the way up. Buyers not giving up easily now.

Had TP set at 60......HIT!!!!

And I can't make money in forex.......WTF?

I just noticed that FXCM jacked the spreads - I only play daily bars so spread is pretty irrelevant to me for the most part.

Didnt they advertise that they were bringing them down?

I am short the EU from 1.3558. My first profit target has been reached and I have a free trade now with some profit already banked.

You don't TRY to pick tops, you just DO it.

Sometimes it fails, sometimes it doesn't.

When it fails, the investment lost is limited, or you might miss a trade by one pip.

When it doesn't, your profits can be gigantic depending on how you manage your trades.

What does this take ? You have to do what nobody else wants to do. You buy low and sell high. You go against the herd.

Takes a lot of practice to pick tops/bottoms I try to get it down to a few
pips. Typically when people are selling I am buying and vice-versa.
Trying to get in right as the gas runs out and reverses.

I am honestly amazed that you have not gone insane yet. You should start trading like a turtle and have a realistic time frame to accumulate some capital. If you can double an account every year, you are golden....
