Hi MO

Thank you very much for this. I am assuming the above are the pip sizes for the entry box? And that your initial position cost would be however many lots you could enter with your %risk / box size. So far I have only used this trading the Dow (I tend to stick with indices as I understand them :) ), and used a gated entry to get my first position in place.

I love that this makes trading stress free, you can get very creative with the space, today I was closing and re-opening positions, always bettering the entry level and widening the space before price then took off in my direction. Added once, but found I couldn't bring myself to double up on next box level mentally.

Thank you, kate xx

I can't think of any reason why one might scale in with more than 3 orders; you can't dilly-dally forever.

There are no 'box levels', just the movement of your stop to normalize risk.

Thank you for your reply :)
I wrote '15 pip space' but I was thinking '15 pip stop/position'. Is that what you mean or the BOx is marked wrong?

Do you understand how space works?

Space is like a piece of paper that is equal to your total risk.

In order to add size you must fold the paper to support more weight.

Price is like scissors & tape, when the paper is folded it either cuts more space or tapes on folded space.

At any time you can take some weight off of the paper and the total space will multiply, by unfolding, to support the new weight exactly.
If you have 4 units on folded paper & you take off 2 units then your paper doubles in size.
If you have 6 units, price cuts your paper down to 5mm, & you take off 4 units then your space unfolds to 15mm.

It is only when you have lost all of your 'paper' or you have no units to remove that your trade is dead.
The very thing you fear, adding size, is the only thing that can save you.

How do you reach unrealistic profit targets?
By clicking the 'buy-buy-buy' button & normalizing risk of course!

Hit a target, get out, reset space, move on to the next.

By 'target' I simply mean the point at which I reset my space; it is not just one trade that is held to a target.

It is easier than it looks :)

# of targets to +1 Zero:
33.4%: 08
58.5%: 05
115.5%: 03

Example:
3 Targets of +115.5%

$2000 - $4310
$4310 - $9288
$9288 - $20015
