"i am thinking more along the lines of two of those raised and tilted at an angle.
A customized recliner with a suspended keyboard and mouse station tilted to your liking."
Yep, you nailed it!

Two screen like that would have to be angled around your field of vision as well, creating a full on panoramic view
That would comprise the majority of a room I imagine
I'm using a very out dated laptop with a second screen attached, I was running a third but the CPU just can't handle it. When I upgrade to another computer at the end of the year I'll be spreading myself out across the two computers. I'll most likely be using four screens across two computers come January.
One computer will run my charts and movies on the TV, and the other will be just my MB platform
Until I have a legitimate office to sit in, alone, without the family. I'll be sticking with the portability of a laptop. I love carrying it into the kitchen and making some breakfast or coffee in the mornings
Any chance this is going to turn into a post your office thread?

I do my analysis on a desktop with 2 1080p monitors.
I trade from a laptop, since this creates a disconnect from analysis and planning (theory) to trading (real).

Ive got one of these, it's freakin awesome
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CROSSOVER-30Q ... 1e72c35b0b
You can get perfect ones but mine has only 1 dead pixel in the entire panel. From time of order to delivery on my doorstep it took 4 days from Korea. Depending on timing it could have been here in 1 day - most of the time was spent in the UPS depot in Korea. Once it left the depot it took 1 day to get to my door in the UK, which imo is stunning
The electronics are simplified on them and they have DVI input only but if you want a large, high res screen and don't need 300 i/o options etc they are the bees knees.
The rear casings on them are metal, not plastic too. Built like a tank.
