Hi there.
This is my first post here.
I am thinking how to arrange my workspace and is it worth it to invest in six to eight screens?
I wonder how do you organize your workspace.
How many screens do you follow.
Can you take photos of your trading space and post it here?
Take care

Are you profitable in trading?
Trading is like cycling, first you need to learn how.

At the moment I've got one pc with one monitor but then I want to expand.
I know that I can earn money with FX that is why I'm asking.
Best regards
If you're BE it is not worth it.
When you start making money you can invest but that also depends on how you trade. If you trade just one pair there is no need to. Multiple pairs or multiple frame could be handy.
I have four 22" screens on 1 pc and use my laptop for execution because i analyse on metatrader and use dukascopy for trading.
I don't have a picture anymore but i posted once in the luckx thread when i used two screens+laptop.
I also have two different internetconnections running in case off and everything is covered by battery in case off electric powersupply problems. I can run my pc for about 1h without powersupply

I have a dual screen PC, I analyze on one and trade off the other....
or watch charts on one and play games or movies on the other while I wait for trading action (cue explosions and car chase)
although I did toy with the idea of hooking up the 55" Sony Bravia (which btw is crystal clear- you cant tell its not a monitor, unlike the 27" Samsung we also have) and posting a pic of it for "trading wood" value

Go on eBay and get a cheap PCI-E dual output video card and get another AGP/PCI (whichever your motherboard supports) dual output card.
These are dirt cheap these days since you are not using the cards for some hardcore gaming.
With this setup you should be able to get up to 5 monitors. One onboard motherboard video card, 2 from the PCI-E, and 2 from the AGP/PCI video card.
Then try to get some 19" or larger widescreen monitors. I wouldn't even buy these new you can get some dirt cheap if they are VGA only.
Then either buy or build a vertical mount like on http://www.overclock.net/other-hardware ... stand.html
You don't need a vertical mount but you can get a better aspect ratio of your charts when viewing them. For example with a 19" widescreen monitor mounted vertically you can view 3 charts on MT4 perfectly. If you try to view the charts horizontally, it will stretch and not look as clear. This is just the case for myself.
This should run you a couple hundred bucks, the setup you posted in your picture is what is used by hedge funds and that will cost you thousands.
