Well, GoMarkets is out of the question. They are not accepting US customers.

Bredin, can you elaborate of your fix to allow MT4 on Dukascopy? I'll buy you beer.

All I did was go to dukas and see that they have MT4.

Weird about GoMarkets, they told another american friend of mine that there would be no problem....

Dukas - shows MT4 but not offered currently.

GoMarkets - decided against US customers in the past day or two

Back to the drawing board...

Have you tried the jforex MT4 bridge with dukas? It does work but I thought it was a bit buggy when I tried it, maybe someone here has more experience with that setup but that can be an alternative to your search.

I know this is not part of the discussion and it may even be useless info I'm putting out but I've been playing with this:

http://profstation.com/

The trading platform is impressively customizable, it works with a lot of overseas brokers. It caught my eye because you can use MT4 indicators within it's very own native programming language but as yet I'm still figuring out how to do that.

If you have you heart set on trading from charts, then you can keep this MT4 alternative toy in mind, if you can get it to work live that is :)

This is interesting...but what are the costs? There is no page detailing that?

If you put the question in the Brokers Thread, you will most likely get a reply from peeps who are using it. You may also find some earlier posts on the subject.

Is price closing higher or lower than something? Simple yet powerful question. ..MO

FXCBS (of British Virgin Islands) is accepting US customers. Withdrawal options are limited.

ATC Brokers (of US) has figured out a way around the hedging rules. You hedge on MT4 but their back office nets them together. Lots of good reviews about them.

FXOpen - Lots of smearing going on but I also see lots of good reviews. Not ruling them out completely.

I have decided to try out Tadawul FX. They accept US customers, have MT4, and allow hedging. Their minimum lot size is .05 (which is better than .1 but not quite what I wanted). They have lots of good reviews and located in Switzerland. Pretty much everything that I wanted except min lot size of .01. But I can deal with that.

I hope this helps someone.
