Patch,
A trader is most certainly not a businessman. If you read Robert Kiyosakis' Cashflow Quadrant, you will see that there are only 4 ways to make money
1. Employee (work for someone else)
2. Self Employed (work for ones self)
3. Own a Business (other people work for you)
4. Investor (money works for you)

1|3
---
2|4

Each Quadrant thinks differently, often contrarily to the other side and opposite quadrant.

Its a very good read, btw, and it follows his primer Rich Dad, Poor Dad.

Cheers

Trader can be either Self-Employed, or Investor.

By Kiyosaki's definition, discretionary traders would most likely be classified as self-employed.

Traders with EAs / A whole hedge fund working for them would probably be considered investors.

It's a good read, but don't lose sight of the lesson being taught.

After realizing that there were no new trading systems to experiment with, I finally decided to make a few posts here. It's nice to be an official member of Kreslik after almost a year of lurking.

By Kiyosaki, a trader is Self Employed, since if the trader doesnt work (trade) he doesnt get paid.

I know that quite well. The difference is that Twee doesn't care as long as I keep giving EAs for free. He knows that if I pull my EAs, a good chunk of people will leave.
