Thanks to you, dchappy!! I am able to replicate your setup in MT4 (using constant range) and I can SEE it's quite amazing!!

Paul Rotter said he looks for 2 things :
"Points of exhaustion" and " New energy"
The Semafor gives us a good point of exhaustion ( turning point )
The CCI can show new energy as a momentum indicator BUT does'nt the Heiken-Ashi bars show the same thing ?( momentum , buying or selling power )
I've been demo trading without the CCI to see what the result is .
Just using the H&A Bars as the trigger . Could it be this simple ?
hmmm...appreciate any thuoghts .......Chappy

Hi dchappy,

I think just HA and LR should be enough. If you look at the body size of each HA candle I think it, sort of, represents momentum.

To be sure I would also look at candle behavior on, say, M5 chart.

Thanks.

Yeah Lis , I think your right . Only need 1 reliable trigger .
Sema for" exhaustion " ( turning point )
HA for " new energy " ( momentum )

This is the chart I,ve been demoing .
Bottom boxes are a moving avg cross of the cci ( It's hard to give up that cci , made me $ ,,heh )

These are the demo trades from this a.m. 8 for 8 , 200+ pips possible, plan to go to $ next week, have a good fathers day weekend ....Thx....Chappy
