If you want to be a swing/position trader, you need to learn to sit your a++ in that chair and wait.

Re: PowerX Strategy "PowerZ"
This is my interpretation of your "dots" and pattern.
Entry on M5 but structure on M15
Feels like I am missing an element (Am I?) looking at your picture, but I am taking trades like this quite often (just don't post them).
First trade was nice but not going anywhere.
Second trade penetrated deeper into the 50% zone.
Nice short but I wanted to reverse and go long because price touched a weekly Z-Line (purple)...
I was too late but still happy with the shorts.

Ah crap....I'll read your posts again.
My idea was that the first dot is at a structure, then a break out down... A new structure and a new breakout, now upwards... That makes the bigger pattern.

I really don't want to turn this thread into 5000 posts going over the same thing.
1. what is this? a breakout.
2. what is behind a breakout? a pattern.
3. what is this? a breakout.

5. what is this? a breakout.
6. what is behind a breakout? a pattern.
7. what is this? a breakout.
8. what is behind a breakout? a pattern.
The "main pattern" is somewhere in the middle. . .
where is the middle? 2, 4, 6, 8.
You now know that some tradable pattern exists in the shape of a square or a triangle.
This is very easy stuff, you just have to stop skipping steps

It is easier to see when you are not looking at multiple colors and various indicators.
You want the analysis to take place in your mind, not on the chart.
