One last post before I go to work (unless I get to sit around waiting for the fog to dissappear!)

Looking at the 15m chart I posted above. My bias was short. Isn't it beautiful how that bias keeps getting confirmed by something closer lower than something (and also nothing closing higher than something). I love it

In this situation when you take a "big" loss, my advice is to continue trading like normal. Don't compound the issue by trying to "get back" your loss. Especially don't push yourself to make all your losses back in 1 trade. Business as usual and figure out to cut your loss smaller next time.

Yesterday I was mental or something. I lost 4 out of 4 trades.
Thats right, lost them all. I'm glad I wasn't risking 4% a trade.
It was a little bit the market but mostly it was me.
I think I let ICT videos get in my head and I lost focus of what works for ME.
I had a chance to take a decent profit on my very first trade. It didn't go where I wanted so I held it to the SL.

It's amazing to me yet, how we experienced traders can still have days like yours above, Alias.

For me, they generally come out of nowhere and often for no real reason. The brain - in my case - has simply not been as focused as originally thought. Whatever.

Where the difference comes is recognising their unimportance and not spending a moment too long - if at all - analysing where-it-all-went-wrong.

(Different to when you have to figure out why you had a complete mental meltdown - different kettle of fish, entirely).

Very interesting indeed Lem. Having off days - to put it one way - is a big thing in my day to day profession. A lot of developments and improvements in the field have been centered around the human element. There is recognition for the fact that humans simply make errors, regardless of their level of knowledge and experience.

Having said that, there are certain errors that are simply unacceptable (which is why people are screened for the job and trained thoroughly).
I will put todays error under my own training feedback

If you are doing fine with what you are doing, I suggest you stay away from ICT. On the other hand he has some good info.
