NQ currently requires 10 point lines on the small chart due to the increased volatility; that is the size of the bricks that I am using for the large chart!
There is a lot of money to be made counting bricks, you just have to be observant and trade the common rotation numbers:
The current leg in the picture below made 5 bricks up and price has now retraced by 30 points.

I guess I missed it. What kind of chart is the brick chart? I've seen renko and tick look like that.

Bricks, blocks, boxes, lines, ... renko, P&F, it's all the same thing;
all that we want to know is roughly how many lines price moves through before there is a price rotation, a change in direction:
And you didn't "miss it"; opportunity is around every rotation.

Is this something you are testing or do you use it all the time?

Re: Aliassmith Beats a "Dead Horse"
Trade price structure only.
Price makes new swing low with a pullback
2R trade on a short from the arrow
Interesting how price struggles at 1R and 2R areas

nice trade! after the swing low, do you interpret the increased green momo up as long bias, and then since the down momo's body is bigger than the green it turns bearish again?

I think I follow your question. I was looking at structure. We have LOWER HIGHS and LOWER LOWS. Once the red "trigger" candle shows up it looks like a continuation of the structure.
If you had the 20 sma on there it would also have been a pullback under the 20.
It also looks like a 50% retrace.
Over all the price action and structure were very clean. I've been using the m15 charts more since volatility has decreased.

appreciate the explanation Alias. agree with you about the decreased volatility, lately its been one big move a week. do you think its a structural change where vol will decrease indefinitely?
