Re: Aliassmith Beats a "Dead Horse"

Hi Alias Hoping to pick your brain on a problem I'm encountering. I've been trading the NAS100 and had some good success originally, only going long and entering at pivots and patterns. I've adopted the mindset of just taking profit liberally and not having to worry about hitting big targets. Had a ...

Re: Aliassmith Beats a "Dead Horse"

Trade price structure only. Price makes new swing low with a pullback 2R trade on a short from the arrow Interesting how price struggles at 1R and 2R areas nice trade! after the swing low, do you interpret the increased green momo up as long bias, and then since the down momo's body is bigger than ...

Re: ZL, D+ extremes, TL breaks, cones

Hi guys - I shorted near the first arrow but exited at the 2D ZL at 126.80 as it stalled a bit.

Would you have held the short there? I wanted to hold to 126.31, the lower green line. What clues can you see?

Re: ZL, D+ extremes, TL breaks, cones

D+ is not my style, I have the patience of a banana. Keep it simple, wait for an hourly close, check H4, figure why it closed there, check past history, if legit wait on lower tf. 1. Where am I going 2. How will I get there 3. How will I know when I am wrong 4. What will I do about being wrong ^^^^...

Re: ZL, D+ extremes, TL breaks, cones

It is 2 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 3, TRO, because that is how you bring the added risk to zero while only consuming 1/3 of the space between your last entry (0) and your previous stop loss (100). 1. 2/3 (2/3) 2. 3/4 (3/4) 3. 2/3 (4/6) 4. 2/3 (6/9) 5. 3/4 (9/12) If you follow the instructions, in the above ...

Re: ZL, D+ extremes, TL breaks, cones

mate, its like a 10 step process to post but i clicked it this time its pretty cool how the market is following the shape of the 15 degree angles and some of them are breakout lines to the other side after hitting the range extreme. im still getting a feel of "the nature" of these lines. h...
