Look at how price respects that line. Then you have a momo candle that cant close above the recent high. Then a doji.

Then we drop to the day chart. You got a channel hat has five waves in it. You also have a bear momo bar that has closed under that key level and price is retesting the breakout right now. You could be conservative and put your sl above the channel. Then pick your exit. I used a wolf wave for that. 6400 looks pretty good. About a 5R

I use to think learning patterns were a load of bollocks but now it's helping me to decide to enter on the 1 min at designated levels.

Martin Pring's Intro to Technical Analysis (bought it 10 years ago, read it once and got bored, but reading it again and it's much clearer ).

I look at over 20 pairs and trade a lot of daily and 4hr charts. Then I have my main pairs that I trade 1hr and now 15m charts. Also if im in a trade on a htf chart I will look for trades on small charts.

Here is a gold trade I just took. Were in a big ass triangle at the top. Getting near the apex. So it could break out against us. But im in short.

Did you just make 50 pips off a 5 pip sl. And is that a 5 sec chart. Omg that's insane. And yeah chart patterns never made sense and I hated them. And now they are a decent part of my trading. I found a cup and handle pattern for the first time the other day. Was kind of cool. The thing I like about the patterns is they let me see which way price might be moving when in the past I would have looked at the chart and been confused as hell. Took years to learn chart patterns. Yeah im a slow learner.
