I didn't see a saving option for the FIB but if you place on on a chart and save it as a template it will stay on there with those settings. You can also have fibs with different setting on the same chart and move them around.

Ah, so the template saves the fib? I never checked that, lol.

However, if so and you take a second fib and add it, changing the settings, doesn't it now mean that the next time you want the Dead Horse Fib Tool it'll reset to default, or the last ones you used?

You may indeed then get it back by just dragging the template on top again but jeez, if so, you've lost the second one!

I need to check this out, not meaning to question your findings.

Yep, works great. Does what it says on the tin. :P

I did change the colours etc, though...sorry. Can't help it...

Dammit! I got all excited there! The ''awesome'' was the fact it played and it was, indeed, a horse. SO, you were awesome, lol.

However, all this got away from me from there, as I have absolutely zero clue wth I am doing, so going purely on what you are saying.

As such, I got the file (which does play via my desktop, so I know it works there) and stuck it into the ''scripts'' file. However, ''drag it to a chart'' does nothing.

Do I drag it from the open ''scripts'' folder, or from somewhere else?

Sorry for sounding like such a noob.

Well when I get a chance I'll write directions for you

What's your secret with EA on 15min  I looked back on most days it swings like a rodeo bull around the MA. Perhaps I just can't see it, or choose not too (its a possibility).

I actually see it as being quite stable...but then I usually trade the DAX, so anything is stable compared to that, lol.

Maybe it's to do with making sure the MOMO candle I trigger off of has cleared the ma, not just taking the first to appear and I will shy away from those larger than "average"?

I can use external bias information as well but to be honest, I have never had it give me any warnings against those trades I have chosen to take simply off the Dead Horse itself.

I look at Frankfurt open to UK close for moves. Tends to be good moves.

Right. The first one didn't tell me anything I didn't know.

The second one - much better and it was looking good. Took me a journey to places in MT4 I never even knew existed, lol.

I now have the file installed and it has been tested and it works...however - there had to be, didn't there - only to a point.

Where he talks about setting the alert trigger itself, well, how on earth do I get it to tie into the indicator? He has it so the alert will go off at a certain time or price, bid or ask, etc...but not what I/we are looking for. On the designated MOMO candle. Or am I missing something - let's face it, entirely possible.

So you have the horse sound in the mt4 sound folder?
You have the script in the script folder.?
Open navigator on your chart then drag the script over to the chart. It should play the horse sound once.

The only thing the script does is test that your sound file works.

Yep, I do know how to install scripts - lecture from MO solved that problem, lol - but all I have is the wav file. So, I did give it a try anyway, 'coz wth do I know, put it in the scripts file etc, as per my previous knowledge and now as per this guy's vid but the file isn't showing up in the Navigator / Scripts section.

Should I have a separate scripts file? As I said, all I have re the Neigh sound is the wav file.

Did I mention I fek'n hate computers? :P :P :P
