What is a downtrend. 2 lower lowers and 2 lower highers. Then you have a 1hr momo bar that no other 1hr momo bar can close above its 50% area. So we.....Sell. Then we look to exit at a BO were traders moved their SL to breakeven. Rinse and repeat.

Here's that downtrend between the two trendlines.
According to price action, GU was heading south as brilliantly analyzed by Mr.Hyde.
Then suddenly there was news about progress in Brexit negotiations which nullified the analysis and gave strong upward momentum.
We can now see traders getting zlined left and right.
This is not to take away from the methods of Mr.Hyde, which are massively valuable, just to highlight the fact that news events
can and do shove the markets around. Why not just wait around for news, see what the market does, then trade with that generated momentum?
There ought to be several high probability trades a week doing this.

Jala! :D

I think that it’s the opposite: the more you post, the more we are happy!

With time I’m learning to draw lines as you suggested in the past (using previous hooks), but I still have problems to trade them.. well, really I don’t know how
Any suggestion, chart or “angles for dummies” is always WELL accepted!

Thanks man!

There is a very simple and good explanation of trendlines in this book...

http://www.cabafx.com/trading-ebooks-co ... lForex.pdf

But to me it looks like you are going to be fine ;)

Cone high (upper trendine) is resisting price... at the moment a break higher signifies a new leg up...

Hey Mira,
Might I suggest not attempting to trade directly off the trendlines, but rather use them for confluence. If you see a failure to close past your horizontal line, price is in a MZ from somewhere AND the extreme is bouncing off your trendline...good to go :)

Talking about DFSR, for some reason the name of Lord Tedders popped up in my mind. If I remember correctly, he was on Kreslik when I first came here a while  back. He had a Youtube channel with some interesting ideas; I checked it out and it's still there. 240p resolution only, but that doesn't make it any less worthwhile to watch imo.

This is the channel (I found 4 videos): https://www.youtube.com/user/lordtedders

Video about 3LL scalping strategy using DFSR indi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4Qs6_-f0iM

Might be helpful for some.

EDIT Kreslik user name is eudamonia

I'm hooked. There's no turning back. The fib tool is an H4 candle off a number 3 sema.
