I know he would want me to thank all those that have helped him in anyway shape or form. Apologize to anyone he has offended. And wish the best of luck to everyone trading.

V8 loved this placed and consider it his home and everyone here family.

I also know he would be annoyed if I were posting about this and at least didn't leave some remark on trading.

So here is one of his last trades and something he had posted about that he was looking at and that was his 3rd add on position to his long term GU trade. It was just a basic S/R trade or "a line in which price does or doesn't close under/over".

Keep things basic until u have proven to yourself that you have a winning methodology and then slowly add in advance idea's.

???

I can't believe it

A 1-2-3 is a pattern where as a breakout is not a 1-2-3.

A triangle is a pattern...a breakout is not a triangle.

The only difference between a pattern and a breakout is a horizontal line.

I thought that 1-2-3 had BO´s.

I identify in this way:
1 = A relevant high or low
2 = A BO of this H / O
3 = Return to this BO.

I dont know what I´m missing.

Candles were never meant to help you, Mira, because they obscure
your view - look inside to see what they hide.

You can pull the line back a single pip from the high extreme and call it a 'breakout' but the more important question is
where price originated from; wherever price came from is not breakout and the space that it passed through is not a pattern.
