Hi guys!

I'm starting a new topic because I don't want to monopolize MightyOne's or other members threads.

It's a bad time for the board, nobody is posting and few are reading. I really hope that this thread could be a place for students like me, who want to learn and post.
Here I'll make some research and test so I'll be able to ask better question to MO ( ) and, hopefully, to GROW.

(I'm sorry for my English, language is a little barrier but charts can talk without saying a word)

Hi Mira. Don worry, my native language is spanish and I try to communicate the best possible. .

You are not alone. I am another new student. Although there are many thing I do not understand I think that with time and discipline we are our own MO.

One question: When you are going to enter a trade you put pending orders or you enter with market orders?.

This question is because if one SEE price action possibly one must enter with Market Orders and enter when PA give us the signal. I do not know if I am worng in this topic.

Hi Elkin!

Thank you for posting.
For now I'm entering with market orders for the your same reasons. I draw a line at the "best price" I can see and if it's leaving then I stay out and wait for a pullback.

Probably gaining experience I'd prefer limits for liquidity reasons..

A short term trade would have to turn into a larger move and longer term trade.

Retreat prior to a correction and then enter in the previous direction.

Trading is a delicate balance between short term momentum and long term position.
