lol don't worry for your English

Btw IN MY opinion I'd still look for longs on the "big pic"..
my idea of short is risky (at least until i don't see price closing below the bullish momo midpoint).
I am/was (I am still in this trade) trying to fade the move shorting until the 50%.

I spent a lot of time trying to reply but the truth is: i don't know.. I'd like to start thinking that it's not life that is driving me, but it's me driving my life.

Forgetting the zone I took on H4, that now is off, my short idea was based on this (from left to right):

- Fat Cat on a D+ extreme
- BO/BI at 100% level of the bullish momo
- Bearish Momentum
- NO bullish momo on the way up

Mexican Standoff for UJ
Raise, Drop or Flat?

That TL breakout is interesting, I'd like to buy back if price shows some sign of strength.

Guys, does someone know if there is a way to make a bar start at a different hour from the one of the broker zone?

Period converter

Postby Mira » Wed Aug 02, 2017 8:29 am

Ahhhh a Period Converter could do the job.

I didn't know that offline charts are updated every x seconds too, I like it 8)

I'd like monitoring D1 charts EOD since I haven't time to daytrade*, then daily charts would give me more time to make better plans..
but FX market 'closes' at 23.00/00.00 here
If I can make that period converter works maybe my daily candle could start when I prefer :!:

* in the morning I have a job, usually I trade in the afternoon.. in the evening I'm not always free and volumes are very low :( the problem is i trade H4+ charts, so it ends with loosing the most of 'signals'.

OR

is better trading smaller tfs?

You are trading what you see no matter which start time you are using.

There are only 4 periods that I look to for price levels: H4, Daily, Weekly, Monthly.

If my sell price is 146.52 then I can sell at that price or a higher price & that is where the small chart closes come into play:
When eyeballing it, I can see that I need each line to have the width of about 9.5 pips as a high-wick should end shortly after striking the middle
line. The indicator said that I needed 8.3 pips so I was right.

Thanks MO!

Sorry, I don't know if I understood right :(
I wanted to change the start time to watch for a D1 close in the afternoon, i.e., and not in the night.

I'm not getting if you are telling me to watch for closes on smaller periods..

Thank you much!
