By trading multiple periods you begin to see what smaller patterns look like as larger patterns, and vise versa, and then you begin
to see patterns repeat as 'expressions' of one another (like how you can tell that two girls are sisters).

It is not something that I can teach you, it is a seed that grows in your consciousness.

I just thought that this was interesting:

Do you ever get the feeling like you saw the price action somewhere before? It was probably a fractal pattern triggering your senses.

The problem with fractal patterns is that you have no idea how they are going to manifest.

Sometimes i put on some angle because 'patterns&breakouts' concept seems the same but it's nothing serious for now, i'm going to wait for MO to tell me more about it in future, if he wants.

For now i'm happy with this horizontal view, i just want to try some entry

Closed long EG (last chart posted) + short GU at the tall H1 closes.

I still can't see fractals very well
btw i'm trying to do everything i can to learn patterns&breakouts

This is the most accurate study that i've been able to do on USDJPY

What still cause me problems are:

1) Closes: now i'm considering momos (bars that closed over the prev. extreme) 0/50/100 on large charts, because sometimes i take smaller ranges instead the leading ones.
2) Closes: because for some reason i can't see what a close over is when i consider only patterns&breakouts..

Then yesterday i took two good trades, but i continue to confuse myself ( ).. I'm struggling with my brain.

I see the price lelves (solid lines), but not the others.. are that projections?

The horizontal lines of EIGHTS are used to trade away from price levels (areas of 2+ closes)
& they don't have to be projections from a fixed price.

There is nothing stopping you from trading small charts based upon large chart triggers save the extra
thought that you have to put into managing your trade.

You are alluding to old posts, I am not actively looking for close overs

Price cannot rise on wicks neither can it fall without lower closes; what uptrend have you seen where there were no bodies & what downtrend have you seen where there were only higher closes?

You want to know what it is? It is the truth!

If one reads "no" as "no" and "only" as "only" then one might look at the attached chart and ask "well what about this close lower?".

Look at the whole picture and you will know "what about" that close lower!

So a close over is just price going up or down.. it's not a trigger, its direction.
Then what is the "trigger"?
