Why to use Ninja at all?

As far as I know, not many brokers
are offering Forex trading via Ninja.

Moreover, it's data feed is not free.

Also, quantity of mq4 indicators available
is much more bigger, than for Ninja platform.

Cannot say, that Ninja charts are better somehow
(as compared to MT4 ones).

Yeah, I know - order entry and trade management
is a kind of beauty under Ninja Trader -
but this seems to be the only advantage of it.

Prove, that I'm mistaken or don't know something.

Semaphore @ the open worked well ..but I was away from the computer..
Did you happen to catch it ? Please feel free to post your semaphore trades .

Noone22 : your right ,MT4 is a great platform also . Ninja is just a preferance ( btw some brokerages offer it for free ) . Use whatever you are most comfortable with ...
Trade well....Chappy

Great trade this morning.

I've got a question for you. At 8:13 the CCI was black, as was the HA candle. This would normally signal an exit. Was this during the time Chappy you were away from the computer? If so, when you are away, do you leave a trailing stop or another kind of exit while you are away?

Did you catch the 10:10 short or was that a trade that appeared after you headed for work?

Great, Great Job Chappy,

Patch

Hi Patch : No , I missed the 3am open , so I entered around 7am with a demo trade . You are right 8:13 would have been the exit for me , but I bent my rules a little to see what would transpire . I'm trying to focus a little more on the body & wick sizes as Monolisa suggests . Notice the 2 black bars @ 8:13 were very weak , this may have been a good point to scale out of a multiple position & let the remainder run to the next Sema . Make sense ?
Missed the 10:10 trade also .
No $ today but gained some insights ....Thanks Chappy

Chappy

I will go back and read monolisa's post about HA candles and their wicks and bodies. Thus far I keep going back and forth between HAs and regular candles. What swayed you to HAs? Plus and minus between the two. Thanks for your helpful response and explaination. --Patch

PS I went to VA congressman moran's town hall in Reston, VA that included Howard the Screamer DEAN of all people. I had work to finish up so didn't get there as early as I was told I would need to make it to get in the meeting room. I am sorry I missed Randal Terry being removed from the 3000 folks meeting.

Sema @ the open stopped out - 15 pips .

I'll not chase ..just wait for the next Sema .

If theres time I'll take 1 more trade to try to get even on the day , If it's a loss I'm done for the day ...no reason to dig a hole .

2nd Sema has us back in profit .(" What I lose , I can win back again" = Dragon33 )

Patch : I like the HA 's as they don't scare me out of a trade like candles used to .It's just a visual " security blanket " heh.. use what speaks to you .

Trade well......Chap
