Deciding when to close is the most important part of trading really. I consider the timeframe I am trading and the probability it will travel x amount of pips based on my edge on that timeframe. An edge on a m5 chart might be good for 5 to 10 pips where a weekly could be 250 to 300 pips.

If you tested that out then good. If not I would take a look at that exit method. A momo in the opposite direction usually wipes out a lot if not all of your gains.

Actually MO's original vision of zline is taking 1 candle for profit.

If you have a zline stacked with supply/demand you will be able to get more.

How many candles of the same color do you usually see in a row, after the zline? How many pips is the high to low of a typical range of those candles?

What I mean is. Hold until price closes over the white line with the red checkmark.
That will be my last momo up I have marked. I will remain bullish until that happens.

Good morning
Eurjpy good !!
now I only see the close in 1h....
I admit that the trigger is still not clear to me, but knowing the direction in a greater TF is giving me security in the entries.
PTG you have changed the way you see the charts! I hope to be on the right path.
I am very grateful to you PTG

Have to keep an open, unbiased mind in order to see what's going on. That takes time.
All I can say is don't rush into trades before you have a clear idea. And it won't always work out.
Remember for a trade you want to see a strong move away and then a pullback that fails to develop into a reversal. Where did you see a strong move to the upside ?
Some remarks attached.

So I closed my Long from yesturday after Price closed over the White line. Last momo Up according to what I see.
Probably should have take profits before. Bulls were getting weaker and we have huge down momo to the left.
When to close and when to hold. I need to figure out.

After the close I shorted. Long Momo overcomed by short momo, wicks in direction of loss so I shorted.

Now we have the same dilema, do I close to I HODL.
