If I understand what your asking is it moves by 1/4 point @ $5.00 per 1/4
By points would be the equivalant to 100 ticks? maybe...not sure what you mean.
I trade by point. Every whole number is a point. Value of each point is $20.
As soon as it moves a 1/4 point I have the commission covered.
Its a 3 min time based chart. Not a tick chart.

Hope this helped...

yes that helps. a tick is a quarter point in NQ and
ES so 24 points is about $480 a contract. That's
pretty good.

Wow, rough day. Usually I am in and out in about 2 hrs total...
Today, not so much... took me half the night and most of today to get out of the red.
Back at Asian.

Looks like you net 500 pips plus some NQ
goodness, so you did well. Now you have time
to exercise and eat salad. :D

I do not have a summary written. Many successful traders hear did a lot of reading and studying. I need to go thru my thread at some point and write one I guess. There are many good threads explaining the same thing in there own way. Im a scalper so I tried to stick with short term trading threads. I have always been intrigued by MO but just cant do it. Im not wired that way or something. This year im really working on less screen time, and bots.

Second thought volnmar,

Start with DC Happy's thread. Great for beginners. Easy to understand. Make a lot of money!
