Hi Arkan,

Thanks. I saw you drawing the RB boxes, but they both work. Over, under.

The green line indicator on your chart. What is that? A fib? Looks like a really accurate zline indicator.

Hi Raw, sorry, I had not understood before.
The green line indicator is the fibtool modified.
that's an idea that mightyone invented and successfully used to manage the money you use in a trade.is a way of injecting the benefits and crop losses.

Do you mean, imperfect as in the triangles are difficult to draw in real time?

Because that's what I am seeing... unless you initially drew the top red line off the double hook BO's and then moved it down...

The angles seem very large, it's that cause for imperfection?

Thanks for the visuals

The main RETS are 0.3334, 0.5000, & 0.6667 or + HALF, DOUBLE, TRIPLE.

I realized that I would never increase my size by just a quarter nor would I ever be below max size by the time I got to charts large enough where I could quintuple so I removed those fibo.

A perfect triangle has channels that are full of price actions where as an imperfect triangle is mostly empty.

If you have the first hook and the second hook is more of a breakout...and if price returns to the general area of where the second hook should be (close in proximity to the first) then you can detect a triangle.

Not to get mystical, but I am looking at the "spirit" of the pattern & not so much the lines themselves.

I trade price action with horizontal lines but I try to understand price action with diagonal lines & fractal triangular patterns.

It is not as hard as it looks, learn the basic methods of spotting them and then learn to feel price action; not with your eyes, but with your heart.

Well I wont add salt to injury.... I suffer from a different kind a pain.

Went short at 133.45 on E/J last night. Started falling asleep at my desk after putting in a 8 hr day and 6 hrs on a transmission rebuild.
When I awoke, I placed a take profit at 133.15, thinking..ok...30 pips profit...nice...went to bed....

THIS MORNING.... saw what happened...and could only dream of what I would have done with that money had I stayed up and traded all night... lol

but did get 30 pips....

always more trades.....
