Makes it hard to scalp when you have fxcm, mt4, and skype running.....5-7 second hesitation is a lot when your banging out 1-3 pips......trust me though, it can be done as i've done it. Slippage is killer though. This method will be much easier.
"banging out 1-3 pips"
yeah it is easier this way-----
you can make some money by scalping little jabs with no doubt------- but u also need to lean into a couple and knock their heads off as well

Confirmation??? When price hits the zline after momo that is my confirmation. I enter at the zline price. If the bar closes against me then I look to exit at a better price than my stop (30 pips), most times you can get out at break even. If the trade is going to work out you will know right away.(you will be in profit)

Buy at 1.6440? The candle (wick) your pointing at with the arrow on it and the candles on either side are about the same size.........Where's the momo?
Your lines show what I would think represent a zeroed out state if you look to the left. It's like your taking the entry exactly at the point you feel others are "zeroed" and then trading away from it.......... Am I correct? Thanks.
You are correct. Here is the chart that shows which candles I used for buy/sell momo
I have changed my charts to a format easier to print out and study.
It seems everyone has their own interpretation of the MZ. I think it doesn't hurt to play the momentum (instead of the correction) part if you know what you are doing and not being zeroed out.
Good trade, nutz!

As a relative novice who has read most of this thread; please could somebody summarise (perhaps their version) of the conditions for entering and exiting a Z-Line trade. As I seem to be getting different and sometimes conflicting information.

1. you see the "setup"
2. you place a limit order
3. you wait a comparable amount of time as the momentum which signaled a trading opportunity

Start drawing the zerolines! Start on the higher timeframes. Every tmf has his own zerolines.
Start on D1 then H4 en H1. Those are the most important zeroes.
When zeroes match eachother then you have megaruns especially when D1 and H4 comes together!!!
It is all here SEVERAL times
