Look for support, when going long, don't draw resistance ahead of your trade:
- there will always be nearby resistance, the question is whether or not it will hold;
since you are looking to go long, you're going to assume that it won't.
When you're in a trade, simply follow your exit strategy:
- using these 60-degree trend lines, we can see price accelerating away from the angle or decelerating towards the angle.
- if you want to trade what you think, get out of half and then let the technicals take you out of the other half.
Looking far left is inefficient, just use larger charts; details are important now, they are not important hours from now.

I got up this morning, and knew nothing.
Might as well be my first day to look at a chart.

I'm pretty much f'd, may go the way of Sir Pumpster. (he quit and disappeared from discord)
Woke up, knew nothing. Blew an acct right off the bat after the first trade. This one had 2 large drawdowns, moved stop almost every trade, added 2nd mini on about 1/2 the entries. 16yrs of STUDY does nothing. Everything looks PERFECT in hindsight. I can "teach" 20-50 methods. (NO, I don't have 81 ways to get in, YET)
Trade? ZERO.

nothing is exactly what I know too, I just have a system of analysis whereby I trade what I see
Trading is patterns and breakouts, because the only thing the market can do is stall and move.
Profit is in the direction of bodies, because prices cannot rise over time without them. . .
that is why the "ideas" thread is called "the ideas" thread. . .because trading is the implementation of basic truths;
when you rely on "monkey lines" and subjective BS then you will only become more uncertain.
It's "as simple as 1-2-3", you're just making it harder than it needs to be.

I read a book about the GCSB in the UK early 2000, they had drones that hovered over London and listened to cell phone calls and could voice ID the caller and check they were not on a wanted list, all automated.IgazI wrote:If there are aliens, you can be sure that the government created them in a test tube.prochargedmopar wrote:The internet WINS again.

interesting as Pro was showing me some charts where price reactions/levels from the far left were still causing reactions when price revisited it.IgazI wrote:Look for support, when going long, don't draw resistance ahead of your trade:

Something to backtest to see how often this would occur as price can just truck on through as well.
