He says BACKtesting is #1 to learning FAST.
He Traded, Backtested, and watched SMC videos (among others) for 4 months, 16hrs a day, 7 days a week.
After 29 days he was turning $600 into $1600 daily using trend lines. LOL

Hey, it's his lie or TRUTH, he can tell it any way he wants to BUT that's what he has been saying since day ONE that I started watching him.
He claims it was the backtesting that taught him ORDER FLOW.
Guy can read charts/PA like nobodies business.
Doing it in front on NOone at the beginning when he was streaming.
Just him and his charts. Said he made many errant calls/markups but LOSING taught him how to WIN.
Every time he lost he would go all the way back to the 80's if he had to looking for WHY and what adjustments he needed to make so it wouldn't happen again.

The most common savant abilities are called splinter skills. These include behaviors such as obsessive preoccupation with, and memorization of, music and sports trivia, license plate numbers, maps, historical facts, or obscure items such as vacuum cleaner motor sounds, for example.

He tells a story of when he was in college getting his degree about MEMORY skills he has naturally, this he did obsessively.

Savant skills are usually found in one or more of five major areas: art, memory, arithmetic, musical abilities, and spatial skills.

Being his trading philosophy is MEMORY, it isn't out of the question to be possible.
Specially when the market does the SAME thing over and over and over every day. LMAO
Not all of us have psychological problems with losing/loss.

Also, Igazi is able to make a 12 yo a trading wizard in 3 week so........ Anything is possible.
I will not put limits on others who reside on this planet. There are some amazing people out there.

1. Exceptional people do exist.
2. But he's not the first exceptional trader in the trading world nor is he in the higher grade of that class. Coz the highest grades of exceptional people in music and/or trading are always the quiet/introverted ones. No need no stats to back this claim, just try to remember your school days lolz Quiet people have a lot more time to think and much greater focus compared to other types.
3. Of course it memory. How the heck could a trader do things instinctively if not from his memory that turns into habit that turns into his nature.
4. Yes, that clarifies things. You know some people might come here and think he might become profitable in a very short time lolz
5. Of course traders have psychological problems with losing. However, great traders learn how to blunt the effects or numbing their nerves altogether.
6. Then again, like I always said in the past, I don't care that much about this trader or that trader or themtheyit trader lolz I already have a lot to think about, it's ridiculous to bother myself with more.

You started way ahead of him and with all that knowledge and experience I think you're better than him now, yes? 8) Or it could be that you're the real mastermind steering him left and right with your posts there

Again, literally anyone with half a brain can do this. . .

I don't want to see open profits, I want to see actual proof of profitable trading.

SMH.

PS: I don't actually give one damn, I'm never going to watch any Dave teaches or ICT videos.

I might as well post this again for the people who don't read previous posts:

There is nothing that you can say to convince me that these people are not scammers. . .

so give me a link to their verifiable trading records or let's stop talking about them.

"He called this"

"He called that"

So what! there are literally two directions that price can go and => 70% <= of traders get it right initially.

Can they turn it into actual dollars or not? 95%+ cannot.

[/quote]With the way that I draw in the wicks now, I think that you can look at it as extending the length of the previous range; forming one large momentum bar:

this means that their closing prices should be the area of 'patterns', and that also looks to be the case.[/b]

Roughly the same as a 2 or 3 SMA line chart:

There are different wayfinders on Kreslik.
The trick is to choose one. Choose ONE and head that way.
Do not use your own GPS, add-ons or other fancy stuff when you start because they are faulty.

Which way do you choose?

When you stack two closing prices into a bar then it is no different than a 1 SMA, but once you start adding unknowns into the range the effect is similar to using an average price.

Glad to help. . .

I often tell people that there is a good chance that my methods are likely not what they are looking to emulate.

My personal picks for most people are:

Alias' method:
- no vocabulary to learn
I find it annoying that everyone feels the need to name every little nuance #-o
- simple strong bias (20 SMA)
- easy to understand entry strategy
- lowest risk entry strategy

dchappy's method:
- no vocabulary to learn.
- simple strong bias (a trend line)
- easy to understand entry strategy (MACD cross)
- low risk high reward strategy

TRO's method:
- no vocabulary to learn
- simple strong bias (color)
- easy to understand entry strategy (crossing horiz. lines)
- low risk low reward strategy

I would love to add Don to the list but I think that it is more intermediate level.

Alias's method is great.. I have read most of the thread and the majority of my posts are on his thread.
He has not been around for a while because of personal reasons.. But really hope he comes back soon.

Here is a basic idea of what the dchappy method looks like:

- the chart is a 3 SMA
- the trend line represents the average of a snippet of the slower MA.
- type 1 entry: price crosses the slow MA and makes a hook (simple as 1-2-3)
- type 2 entry: a reversal trade back through the breakout (red dashed line)
- type 3 entry: taking the trend line break

You are timing the cross of the MACD no matter the entry type.

The exit is a type 3 break in the opposite direction.
