Woke up, stepped in front of PC, Saw close above, Bought.
Let dog out, read post on Kreslik, looked back. TP hit.
I'm out, gotta go, cya tomorrow..
LOL

Oh, yeah. Where I been?
Still doing work with Dad on the Rental Remodel.
We are both really enjoying hanging out together on the project.
After the Christmas play we are heading to Missouri for new years.
Then end of Jan. going to Pagosa springs Wolf Creek Lodge where we road Snow mobiles and took the dog sled ride.
This time around Ila is big enough to Ski. Putting her in a class with her mamma while I hit the slopes.
Then a couple months after that we are taking ALL 6 kids to stay at a Condo in Port Aransas on the Coast.

Let's get movin'...
AU still going up IF you are counting by Pipettes. Bahahahha

Using 3.5x lot size over what I would use on U30.

It is harder for me because it moves so damn slow most of the time.
If it was a 1:1 Tick to pipette that would be nice.

Even with the smaller lots on U30 I can make higher % gains easier.
Something in my head I think. Still grinding out what's up with the difference.

If you do better trading US30 then why dont you trade it?

Chasing lot size dreams and losing sight of Mastery.
Mastery is the END goal.
Lot size is the by-product.
So it doesn't really matter what I trade actually.
Gotta keep those #'s out of my head, WATCH PRICE behavior so I DON"T FORGET. LOL

There's a little bit of a problem... slaughtering a chicken is different from slaughtering a cow. AU is a chicken compared to EU.

A good strategy must work in all markets. That's true, but there are things that make trading EU different than trading AU so even though I will use the same strategy I'd do it differently to match the characteristics of the pair. Anyone who said every pair is the same is never a specialist in any pair, they are generalists. Be a specialist.

Exactly.
And a large part of that difference is RANGE/Volatility.

Waiting for a 3 pip move (30 pipettes) is much different than waiting for 30 on U30.
Maybe during market opens they are the same but this morning and afternoon I traded U30.
Cheesecake. Even during/just after NY lunch it was still moving to my fancy.

m5 on AU or EU could equal m1 U30.
I'd have to check the range indy.
Joe Ross always used range to set stops. 10 for 10 and then switched to the TF that gave him the proper stop.
Could be m5 one day, m10 the next, and maybe m17 the day after that.

Friggin when I sit down to AU (wrong time of day most likely) it's like pulling teeth to get 15 micro pips.

You really should try prop firm's $300k so you won't have to wait to get your desired pip/$ size.

Nope,
I see your sig.
I do not trade for time OR money.

Life is the journey.
I'm swamped with an over abundance already.
Mastery is the goal and all the steps toward it is my LIFE.

NOT trading for/with a prop firm is 100% principle.
Never!
