Didn't actually trade at all today. Ugliest looking market conditions across the board I have seen in a good while.

Not worth the hassle.

Bring on tomorrow.

Just realised Lem, that trade management idea I shared with you a while ago is pretty much a combination of WalMal and TRO's exit playbook. I must be on the right track then!

There is one drawdown to it that I would like to improve upon: it disregards price action.
I had two entry triggers about 2 pips apart (I didn't trade them). One would have stopped me out for -4 the other one would have gone for +20. However, if I could somehow read the price action better - I assume I can get better at this - both trades could have stayed in.

At the same time I hear the experts voice in my head saying "don't get greedy, sometimes u win, sometimes u loose, overal u are still up +16"

Wonder what you have to say (and if this is the right place to be asking these questions?)

Cheers, W

Yep, it's the right place to ask these questions - fire away.

That's an interesting conclusion you came to re Walmal and TRO's etc exit. I'd need to have a closer look to be sure. The last time I used Walmal's method, it was in the early days and I basically closed out when I had a bag o' pips and if it seemed to stall at all.

Which kind of answers the next one - yeah, so no matter what, PA trumps all, no matter what the method. It doesn't need to be in any way complicated, simple is as simple does, higher highs, lower lows. blah, blah, blah. That gets the job done fine.

Looking at the UK100 this morning via Dead Horse on the 15 min chart and it was messy as hell, no way did I want to get involved. However, as is the way of these things, it has been a cakewalk by simply dropping down to the 1 min tf and adjusting the game plan.

There's always something that'll work.
