Today's jaunt was a kind of unexpected one, as I didn't like the look of the long move that was actually on my screens when I got there this morning - it seemed like most of the action had already happened.

Well, as it turned out, that was a good call, as the move stalled. There would have been enough warning to allow anyone in on it, to save a little something at least, however, I think. Maybe...

Anyway, so we then got a chunky single candle drop and that was not that enticing either. The set-up candle entry to the high would have been far too big a sl for me.

As a result, I took a bit of a chance and set it at just beyond the 50% mark of the drop distance.

All good.

I thought I posted this.
The pull back entry was where its at.
Still trying to figure out why the SMA shows one color but in indy thinks its another.

Yes pretty much what I've said. It's not a blind entry alert you can/should still consider market context.
The first up arrows were trading into a zline/order stack which would be low probability in my mind.

A bit of a duff start if you took every signal - though once again, pa gave you the clues it was going bad, especially with that stop-loss. So, you could maybe have got away with it by bailing early, if you were nimble.

That water was definitely muddy and don't know if I'd have let the horse drink in it, however the next pool was crystal clear and we were good to go.

As it turns out, I didn't take any of them as such. Well, I definitely didn't take the early one, as the screens were still off. For the second, I wasn't actually planning on going in at all today, as I had decided to rip into the US30 on the 1-min through the afternoon session uk time (+63.3 after a woeful, rusty start).

Needless to say, however, in a lull in the action, I couldn't resist having a look-see and kept it on the 1-min chart, just for giggles. Turns out, I was in the right place at just the right time.

Yes the 20 sma and the 30 sma must have the same bias

Love that candle bias indy. It works with different styles.
Support/Resistance still works
Horizontal lines for TRO
Second chart just added the ruler
