Just a quick heads-up - Kreslik.com might be on and off for a little while as we're working on upgrading our database to MySQL 8.0.
AWS has ended standard support for MySQL 5.7 and begun charging extra fees (read: racket
) for running older versions (that are otherwise perfectly fine) under the so-called "Extended Support." To avoid these unnecessary complications, we’re moving forward with the upgrade.
As always, rest assured - all data remains safe and secure, with multiple backups in place.
