Dan wrote:Thanks xXx, but I already have that one. I'm actually trying to find one that gives a signal (email/sms) on close of the (3) candle.
I don't know how to program but found an indi with email notification so maybe someone could merge those two in to one?

Alerts are nice using the metatrader app and the notification function.

It's nothing new, in fact Doji goes into the same stuff somewhere in his thread, the moral of the story is you have to be patient and wait.
The 3 means nothing when it first appears and we all know this. He is waiting for confirmation that price has stopped and is showing that its the top or bottom of the move. Once the 3 candle closes, wait and see if price continues to confirm that it's reversing (mid points, rock boxes, zlines, whatever price action you are comfortable with). The important part is waiting, if you enter and price goes against you or past your dragon line , mommo, or whatever just take a small loss and re-enter when it looks right. All those awesome 3,1,1 setups you see when you scroll back your charts is what he's interested in, yes they are hindsight but they did happen and they happened at larger t/f areas of interest guaranteed.
It's all the same, "enter at higher t/f extremes".
What I discovered is I need 10x more patience than what I currently have and having alerts for the area's with the best r/r would stop me trying to make my target pips when they are just not there.

Any comments?
Should I add any additional lines?
Good assessment, But there are many more... Pay careful note to those at extremes or turning points in the market... As well as those dragons which form Zlines...
Also do the same on a H1 chart and see the results...
Here is a look at the H1 Chart in GU uing the II Dragon'Lines Indicator... TRO also coded one that he added to the motherloads some time back...
