Hey Harry hindsight,

Did you ever create your trading plan?
Does it include multiple pairs?
How many trades per day and/or max loss?

Ok back to my siesta

This is HE.

Nope, Nope, and Nope.

I'm trading EU ONLY.
I was looking at GU because one of my buddies is trading it and took a 25 pip loss, I was curious what the hell he was up to.
I am taking 5 pips a day for at LEAST 2 more months.
I am not making, or even trying to make $$ atm.
There is an endless supply, Just ask the Fed. lol
No hurry's, no worries.
I'm retired, remember.

This is ALL brain training.
I'm building confidence in my methodology and MORE importantly confidence that I will GET THE HELL OUTA DODGE when I see mo against me or my SL is hit.

Any more questions?

Here's my plan.

1. Wait for 15/30 min momentum close (Blubbb double alert).
2. Check the HTF for direction.
3. Wait for retrace.
4. Trading the direction of 15/30 momentum close.
5. Risk 1%. SL +1 top/bottom of turn. Target 15/30/1 hour extreme high low open close with fib extensions.
6. Max 2 entries on the retrace.

Repeat.

"...took a 25 pip loss..."

If you don't mind, show me. There's different ways to look at the market so I am wondering why anyone would take a 25 pip loss in that GU tight range which you said I was going long, which I wasn't.

Not arguing pro but I am not here for a pissing contest. Kreslik has always helped me in the past and since only you and I are posting helping squidgley new ones out, I thought I post again and also to keep me honest and disciplined.

Maybe the pro traders of the past have made their millions and forgotten the struggles we have all endured

If you don't want me posting here that's good, too, brother, all good. Take care. :D

Huh?

Pablo, I have no beef with you.
I didn't say you were going long.

My buddy who took the 25 pip loss on a LONG was the one I market up a Harry chart for.
I then showed HIM a m1 candle that he could enter long on. Would have gave 15 pips from my markup.
Then dropped to 00 and bounced up 50 pips from there before continuing on through 00.
Was ONLY sells for my brain if I had been trading GU.

He was looking at some daily/weekly chart level and trying to be smart butt. hahahaahah

I was like, no way dude. Sure enough. Stop hit.

All good pro, I just read it differently.

I just found it odd that you're only taking 5 pips a day after all the time here. Don't get me wrong, I would be happy with 1 point per day as TRO has been making me see over the years. Before I easily saw where I needed to enter and exit but I wasn't consistent and it was only when Tro drilled into me to write a plan out and rigorously apply it then I kept winning.

Anyway, if I stepped out of my bounds here, and if you are consistently making 5 pips daily for 2 months, keep at it, compound it and you'll add a zero to your money very soon. Great for retirement play. :D

Keep posting, I am learning much from you. I always had a hard time reading ES PIPS zlines and I still havent figured how he trades. But that's his style and he mastered his style so that's him.

Btw, keep weight training, you lose so much strength and get fat staring at screens all day. Probably worse in retirement too.

Have a great trading day, God bless.
WAS A YALE STUDENT. Now? Let's see!

I traded like that in the past. It is kinda like catching falling knives.
I would prefer to enter with structure and a bearish bias

Alright Pro. Im gonna trade with ya next week. So its 7-10 est right? Then we're doing the euro. Im gonna do 15m chart. Alais template. If its a momo bar that broke a pointy, I'll do a retrace entry at the break or 50% (shouldn't be a huge difference). Otherwise normal entry. Gonna be aggressive with the sl and use the entry bar for sl (stop cant be smaller then 8 pips). Then for an exit we will record for 2R and 3R and see what the stats are at the end of the week. Here is an example. Did I explain it well enough? Also I wont include HTF anaylsis. Sound good?

I just eyeballed it real quick for the last week. There was 10 trades during this time 5 3R winners, 1 2R and 4 losses

Alright. Super late I know I know. I got the time part wrong, see you said 8-11 est. Here are the trades made according to what I typed out a month ago. 3 wins one loss, one BE. a easy 5 RR for the week.

A quick example of Good position and Larger trade size compared to the latter. (MA color change and Mo bar formation)
Exactly why the MAs are no longer on my chart.

I really don't think many traders would complain about 5r for a week.
Interesting.
MAs put on to see what all the hubbub is about.
