On vacation, stopped about 2am to stay at a James Inn hotel in Tuscoloosa MS.
While the family was sleeping this morning I traded for
1hr. and 3min.

Used the 50/25/and 40 lines for "triggers".
New highs/lows, reversing from new/highs lows????
The Market is Soooooooo predictable!!!!

Everybody gripes about being in the hole when taking a trade at a horizontal line..........WELL, think about it. If price is moving up let it "flutter" across and then short. Easy cheezy. Bag the pips. If you really think it's going up (trend) then wait till it drops back some pips (after grabbing your short pips) and long that puppy. How hard is that??

Pro, sorry, I don't understand this part.

If price is moving up - you can either wait ot go long.
If you go short - you'll be whipsawed in a matter of minutes.

Also, not clear - why to "wait till it drops back some pips"?

Could you shed a light on this thesises, please,
preferable - with pictures.

I'm using horizontal lines as reference point to take my trades.
I was extremely angry with myself for not banking more pips. (+17.
I let a couple runs get away from me without being able to get the price I wanted and then jumped out early of a couple others.
Getting greedy are we????? LOL
Happy to be + with such ease though.
Here are the results of 1hr. and 1 min of trading.
Gotta get going before the wife gets HER panties in a bunch.........Need to cook breakfast and head to a Magic Show.

I'll answer ASAP. For now just watch price action at any line, it's pretty simple.

TRO gratuity fund will be updated when I get back from vaca. Only used $1 pips today because I was not sure about the reliability of the connection that I was using. Their firewall will not let me log in to paltalk.

Pimpin from the van again today and heading back toward home in an hr or so. 1000 miles to go.

I can SEE that I still don't have full control of my EMOTIONS.
-15 is totally a hoping/begging/praying issue.
Got to get a grip on that.
It's crazy though how it only went one more pip and 30 min. later it had hammered down 10 pips past my short entry. I've got to get out and get back in at a better price. Got to.
Also, after the big loss I got greedy and let a +6 turn into a -7.8.
So, -9 today........... Rules my friends, Rules.
Not even close to getting off restriction from horizontal lines.

I'm suppose to have a 5-10 stop loss. Then build it as I make pips. I gave all the profit back today on the one loss as I was up 13ish. Then See above. Lost control. LOL

Don't think I'll make it this year but definitely next. I'm holding out hope as I've got to go somewhere for our anniversary and we both love the beach.

TRO, yes, that's the selling point I'm pushing.
Had my wife read some of disciplined trader to me on the drive home.
Listened to mp3 also.

Yesterday's loss was due to
fear of failure (after consecutive winning days)
fear of being wrong, self explanatory---holding losses
And
#7 from the book.
NOT FOLLOWING RULES OF TRADING PLAN!!
Simple as that.

When I got home I took a few trades to see if I could enact them.
Did so, so.
Used two different stop/loss methods. The quick stop/pause trade and get back in at a better price trick. When those didn't work (trend had changed and I was oblivious) I held a couple for 2 hrs until they came back to me. Was down 70 pips at one point but just waited. Sure enough, Trend in the end won out. After getting into the trades I did a more thorough examination of the higher timeframes and I could see it was in a retrace up and carrying me with it.

Market is getting more predictable, now it's just me being disciplined and this WILL be cake.

WATCH price when it goes toward a line/ any line.
It will always(unless it's breaking out strong/rare) cross and pull back. e/j seems to have a 10pip oscillation most of the time.
If I take a trade at the line on first touch I usually don't even have a chance to grab 2 pips and I'm down 5-8. I TRY to wait so that I can avoid this. Sometimes it takes off and never comes back to let you in, like I said before. Oh well.
The next line is only XX pips away. Just be careful after it's touch a couple as things may be ready to reverse. Rules state first psych only.
Sometimes it will cross by a couple and then never go back to the line, just saved you from having a loss.
If I'm using 10's I'll go to the third max. When I follow rules that is. Kinda slacked up the last few days and have just been watching the oscillations instead. That has BIT ME IN THE BUTT.
Back to the basics, again, as it seems to work. LOL

Thinking about it, it's pretty pathetic that I can't follow the rules of horizontal line trading.
#1 trade with candle color
#2 take first psych line touched
#3 bag pips.

hehehe I've learned volumes in just 1 week and a couple days of trading this way. The market is NOT near as scary as it was. It will become 80% predictable in short order. That's all I need to bank consistently.

Middle of night trades after driving 16hrs......off to bed.
Very weak but didn't panic or hedge. A plus compared to normal.
