Peter Crowns gave you everything you need to know...stop with the silly bounces, crosses or whatever. Work one signal and back test, back test, back test - this is the only way you will get the confidence you need to keep putting on trades. Use a signal that keeps your losses short and let your profits run........take a trade, put in a stop loss and walk away. The worst you will do is lose, which is exactly what happens when you cut a trade short. You need to build up the discipline to let them run, which if you look at this logically, should not be too hard given your results (and my early results) by cutting them short.

You are not the limiting factor(I assume you are a fully capable being and able to turn on a computer, launch your software and enter trades), the ability not to function like a casino is the limiting factor. Do you understand the probabilities behind a blackjack or roulette wheel?

Ruff night at the office.

I've decided to use this chart setup until March 31st Minimum.

No changes,
No searching for systems,
No new indicators (sorry TRO, no 2010's for me)

I will trade bounces, breaks, retests, and crosses.

Couple MA's and some horizontal lines.

I am the limiting factor, NOT the chart, NOT the indicators!

A list of prices with net change at hand gives you a positive mathematical expectancy!! This chart setup should be worlds ahead of that. There are so many (quality) trades available it's INSANE.

Holding the trade, Now that is what we are working on by gaining a deeper and deeper understanding of the market itself/ how price moves/ and psychology.

I'll say it again.
I am the limiting factor!!!
By way of my thinking.

Not sure of the odds on this one but I see the profit 15 min after market had opened and I entered late.
+10ish at first support level, let other half run to demand area.
+31ish 2nd half.
DO YOU SEE THAT PRICE OPENED 70 PIPS UP AND RIGHT AT A SUPPLY ZONE........LOOK LEFT. And then, I'll be jiggered, it bounced 25+ pips off demand. Hmmm Could have hit it both ways.
THIS IS A M1 CHART.

First 2 trades Asian session went 30+, I squeaked out about 15 total on partials.
One trade London I grabbed partials of +5, +6, and +14.2.

See the little consolidation band, I waited for the break/pullback/hammer, and then hit it long.
Price is 25 pips from daily high so I was only scalping, if it goes up close to that area and momentum is just right, short the sucker.
Not me today, I closed the tradestation right after the pic.

Image

Do you see the white lines and how price trades in ranges?
This will be the key for me to one day hold trades longer, OR take profit and then add, take profit, add, ect.

Gotta figure out something but I think this information will help tremendously when the market rolls over on it's back as it does so frequently.

Ok funny guy.
Keep kicking butt and shutting her computer down at 20 and we only have 70 DAYS TO FREEDOM!!!!

Today was a doozy. I was definitely not in connection with the market.
I had basically come to grips with the fact that I was going to end the day in the hole by 5 pips.
Asian session trade on drive to work was totally wrong, london I just couldn't get things going.
Couldn't follow what was going on.
Got home from work and saw a gimmy trade, believe it or not it was actually WITH the trend!!!
Booked profit and closed trading station.

Still 3 days ahead of "The Plan".
WHEW.

Gotta get with the program to excel.
Not taking those runs shown here is being a slackard. I picked the entry within 3 pips. Then didn't take the trade...

mopar,

you seem much emotional... am I right?

Once you have a plan, you shouldn't care if you win or loose, only if your plan is correct or not....

Hell yeah, I'm emotional.

Trading is simple, mastery of yourself is the ONLY battle.

See How simple...look at chart below.
WAIT for MOMO, WAIT for correction, Hit it.

I started out playing with a 5 pip TP and 10 centers today....ended up with 29 pips after about 15 entries...had 4, 10 pip stops hit too.........Hmmmmm

Then took one trade London. Done for day, I pulled some profit out then re-loaded after a correction...
M1 chart of course.
