I have done a test extraction from the Discord server to post167940#p167940
This is an extraction from the K2 Discord channel called pros-trilogy
The extraction will be output into multiple posts on Kreslik as there is a file quantity limit of 50 images per post. I have done 1 post for now.
No issue as I can do multiple posts for the next 50 and so on.
I have scripted the Discord channel extract up so at least once a week I can run the extraction from each channel and then run some formatting scripts which outputs the Kreslik posts into a format compatible with the Kreslik ppBB software.
The script does:
removes non-ASCII characters (unsupported emojis)
reduces image size to an accepted szie for Kreslik
downloads files locally from the Kreslik server and renames to a unique time based filename.
As I discovered there can be multiple image files per post which I have managed to get the urls for and download as well
This allows me to upload local files into Kreslik so we are not relying on Discord as a third party image hosting server.
The script also produces the appropriate Kreslik phpBB tags in this format:

The scripts do all the hard work for me and then I manually post the output into Kreslik in batches of 50 files which is quick now I have worked out the quirks.
I am presuming that I should post your matching Discord thread pros-trilogy posts into your Kreslik one "ProchargedMopar's Trading Trilogy"
So other threads I can export and import into Kreslik are:
deadhorse - > Aliassmith Beats a "Dead Horse"
chart-analysis -> ??
general-trade-chat -> ??
dave-teaches -> ??
Or do these go into their own threads on Kreslik?
Pro, I noticed you have posts in K2 and then placed the same posts/charts in Kreslik as well, if I run the script on a regular basis it will grab all posts from K2 and if you have posted manually on both places the script will still provide output to paste that content again so there will be some some charts posted twice etc
I guess we need to either be OK with that or come up with a process of maybe posting in one place only and I run the script to replicate to K1, or another process?
If anyone has any thoughts / feedback please let me know.
If you want to transfer from here, fine, if not that's ok also.
