Hi Flex, it wasn't my intention rag anyone, of course post your losers, no problem. These bunch of guys on kreslik are the best trading mentors you'll ever find anywhere and I stake my life on that, seriously.

What I wanted to say is Dragon H4 momo trade away is not a 'system' and you have to discretionary when taking a trade like you did. You could have paid attention to the HTF and also the tight range you were in, tricky to trade I reckon. It would have been better to WAIT ...

cfabian wrote:What would be the problem? I had a good month over july. Increased my account by 50% in 2 weeks. I felt you guys should know how.... like if finally everything aligned up.... but s**t, last week and today had been terrible and lost all my profits. Have to start building up again.

Damn, what is it that makes you blind??????

Most likely it is some psychological aspect. Such as over confident, greed,
fear of losing the profit, this can cause you to change what you do. I went
through a phase where I wouldn't take profits where I would in the past.

Something caused me to do something different. I know ES/PIP went
through a spell as well. It happens and you have to work through it, not
circumvent it.

Lukx and cfabian.

I talked about that situation in previous lukx reply. I also would be glad to see what dragon says but I think it's just about waiting till the move is done.

Look for the difference whats in red and yellow boxes.

cfabian wrote:Dragon, I believe to have a confusion here...

That marked candle in my post was considered as it wicked the H1 zone and closed out of it, creating a bullish "reversal candle". That zone also coincided with a H1 ZL. I entered at the break of it. Long term trend has been bullish as well.

What you do is entering at the break of high/low of confirming M15 candle, right (rat entry)?

When you say "YOU ONLY GET A GO WHEN YOU CAN DRAW M15 ZL", it makes me believe you enter on the retrace to the break out point, and not as a rat.

In addition, when looking back at the linked example, I do not see a ZL on M15 that is wicked back, what suggests the entry is at the break and not at a retrace. So to me, the only difference would be the equal sized candles.

Not sure if I'm expressing this correctly. Hopefully I am.

Maybe yes it was just a losing trade when our edge indicated the opposite.

Thanks for your help.

lukx wrote:yep... I think our mistake was not waiting for 1h momo up from 4h mz and pullback to this 1h momo mz...

Nope not similar!!!

When reaching a zone YOU ONLY GET A GO WHEN YOU CAN DRAW ZEROLINES!!!!

So where are the lines on your M15. There is no M15 BO so there is no M15 zl possible. See the difference

No confusion at all

1 picture: You are trading with zl behind you, with H1 right color and at least the possibility to trade back into previous H4.

2 picture: You are trading without zl, against H1 and against H4 that's a big difference.

Trading against the colors is only possible when you are at extremes and when the trade is confirmed by zl on lower frames (i prefer M15)

I would reply to dragon that it's simple but when you add patience and struggle it becomes quite hard

When you look at H4 it was forming doji. The market will usually allow that doji to be created so if you see doji and it's not moving anywhere then wait till the new H4 opens. As usually when it's doji it will stay as doji on H4 timeframe.

And doji can mean two things. It is either the end of the trend (if it's looking like a pinbar) or it gives sellers an opportunity to sell more as many traders will buy in the case of doji.

I could be talking bullshit so it's good if someone else confirms it :P

Thanks for pointing that out. Do you consider the zerolines that are created in the center of momentum a zeroline ?
