hmm I don't really understand the difference between selling an ebook for 21$ and asking for a "donation"... just a play on words no?

When you buy something, you are paying for what you want.

When you make a donation, you are giving support to a person, organization or cause.

If you make a $20 or more donation to the Sierra Club, they will send you a rucksack or whatever thank you gift they send out. That is the model that I follow.

I find it curious how many people focus on how I conduct my affairs rather than focus their attention on making money via trading. Their efforts to demonize me do not affect their account balance.

at first read - it sounds like an intelligent question.

but when you turn on the lights - it is actually a most stupid question.

there are 2 reasons why it is stupid - one of which is a big one. but if the person can't see the potential big reason then its best to just leave the stupid person's question in stupidity.

hehe nico you are pretty quick on the ad hominen..
you also forgot to compare our posts counts...

tro, you got all me wrong, i am currently ending my trip of all the east-coast of america (leaving miami for cancun in 3 days) and i was trading most of the days in coffe shops on my laptop, so i am definitely not "focusing all my efforts" to demonize you. I actually appreciate your different angle of approach of technical analysis.

i coded a little more than a few EAs and indis, started a few thread also describing partially what I do, and my philosophy was always that if I, newschol, can make money on FX, then I don't need to charge anything for whatsover. And that would actually be the best proof of my success.

newschool:

I post plenty of FREE code. More than most. I have made some friends and some enemies along the way. Why would I want my enemies to have some of my best work when they do not really appreciate my efforts?

People who appreciate my efforts thank me by sending donations and I thank them by sending them books, indicators, methods, etc.... No one is ever forced to donate.

Finally, I do not have to prove anything to anyone. I wasted more than enough time proving things back in my TradeStation days. My work stands on its own merits.

you may be good at trading - but using post counts to determine validity of thought is like using a MA crossover to trade.

well thanks for coming on and sharing your 3 paragraphs of how successful you are.

really... the world to conform to your thinking?
