GER30 H1..
This one looks interesting to me.. Bias is flat but still green.. The daily open line is acting as the Zline.
Lets see.

Missed another one.. Look at that beauty.
I like these.. In and out within the same H1 bar.

Re: Aliassmith Beats a "Dead Horse"
A similar thing on GER30 H1... The difference in this picture is that the bias line is Yellow. So I guess no trade. But it does hurt to miss all those points.
Before I started exploring more of the Dead Horse + Zlines, I would have taken this trade short. I found that more often than not, when the GER30 (and GBPUSD) showed a moment bar, the index and or pair would continue to move in that direction.

Re: Aliassmith Beats a "Dead Horse"
I traded this US30 short based on a video I watched saying most traders are losing because their SL is where funds are looking to trade. The 2 guys were actual hedge fund managers.
I traded short at the arrow because people had there SL threre. Lower arrow is exit.
If you look left farther you can see I has supply there also to catch me.

Re: Aliassmith Beats a "Dead Horse"
I took this short on EURUSD too.
I took the entry short once price went up through the Zline and then back down. At one point price came all the way to the open of that candle and real close to TP. So I decided to move my stop to BE. And you all know whats happens next.. Price came all the way back to my BE stop and game over. But as you see the next hour continued south, giving a million pips
@Alias.. Any tips on managing this type of trade. I guess I could have left my original stop in place. Either the stop hits or the TP hits.

If price moves 90% of the way to your target then you move your stoploss to BE you create a new risk model. You are essentially risking 9 to get 1.
Maybe consider taking partial profits.
There are many ways to manage trades and you can find and research as many as you want with each having pros and cons.

Re: Aliassmith Beats a "Dead Horse"
I think maybe posting my "deadhorse" type trades is getting redundant.
I am studing a newish methodology that is based on listening to how these 2 hedge fund guys describe how they look for orders and how "retail" loses a lot of their trades.
They are in the first half of the video if you don't want to watch it all.

I actually recall MO talk about it briefly and I think ICT does also. I'm interested because I am a scholar of all things trading and I may use it on higher timeframes in the future. You never know what the research will say.

Example
Price creates a minor low.
Price stop hunts the minor low before taking a big move.
