I broke my new year resolution and I looked at something other than EURUSD.![]()

I know I am a bad person.
I was looking at the US30.
Currently 1.9 points spread (cost)
ATR of 12
EurUsd currently had 0.3 pips + 0.3 comm.
Total 0.6 pips.(cost)
ATR of 3
5 pips = 1%
To make US30 equal cost per output I would make
15 points = 1%
On a $100k account:
The EURUSD would be $200 per pip.
The US30 would be $67 per point.
Now that they are equal by cost and outcome there is still the matter of US30 still moving more after this numbers magic.
Since I am on a power scalping kick again, I will test US30 from that point of view.
Then there is my old favorite the US100 or nasdaq.
The spread is .9 points
ATR of 20
Cost wise to make it equal the other.
We will call it 10 points = 1%
US100 would be traded at $100 per point.
It moves like a beast compared to the others.
Interesting.![]()
US100 might tear your head off.

EurUsd has an ATR of 4
US100 has an ATR of 14

Tro has a video on the inside bar indicator (MT4) he has in his motherlode which looks like it has some good additional features such as HTF inside bar lines on your LTF chart and a bias which would match the deadhorse SMA. Does alerting as well.

I currently also use an indicator on TV.
Paints IB's better than MT4 indicators and has an alert that reaches my phone within 5 seconds after the bar closes.

I forgot the GER40
Spread is 0.8 points
ATR of 11 in london
Maybe 8 points = 1%
