As for the question on semafors...

The "1", "2", "3", is not telling you anything of value and it's nothing more than a zigzag applied 3 times...

If you are going to use it, replace those numbers with an actual number value so you can see the swing values...

I think people are more easily fooled due to standard time frames, with a limited choice of like M5, H1, W1, etc....

To test the insanity, use offline custom charts and apply the indicator to M1, M2, M3, M4...M45...M67...M88...etc. and watch the values change!

I use the chart shift for some of the multi time frame "multimeters", but those are only necessary on one chart, if I have 3 different time frames, than 2 of those charts don't need to use the chart shift to keep price out of the multimeter space. I want the chart shift functionality on th...

It sounded like he was just trying to teach traders to zoom out and look to higher time frame S/D areas. Sounds like good advice to me. I didn't get the impression that he thought the time frames were all different data. We have to resort to using compression in order to fit all the data onto our sc...

If trending, I draw the trend line closest to my stop, if there is a channel than I don't draw the opposite trend line channel. Only if the market is ranging do I draw both the upper and lower lines. It's the most obvious trend line on the chart, if you were only allowed to draw one. The line is mor...

I've been moving away from using channels / wedges and even trendlines...I will draw 1 ... maybe 2 trendlines on a chart if they are really obvious and of a larger tf.

The purpose is to see what others are seeing, not so much because I trade them...

First step is admitting you are a Kluge:  Kluge Once we admit that we are Kluges, we are open to learning what we were doing wrong and how to improve. On the other hand, if you believe you are an experienced trader of 5+ years and lost 9%...4% in a day, than you are not being open to the idea t...

I completely agree. The swings are more significant than the price levels.

I personally don't use "psychological" price levels at all...
