National Bank of Bahrain Taps Jean-Christophe Durand as Chief Executive

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) will head into 2017 with new leadership, following an announcement that it will be appointing Jean-Christophe Durand as its newest CEO, who steps into the role at the end of the month, according to a Reuters statement.

The NBB had a void on its hands after Abdul Razak al-Qassim revealed he would be retiring from the position of CEO. He originally joined the bank back in 1977, following almost a decade in other banking roles at Standard Chartered and Chase.
