Re: The ideas that I trade by:
^^Nice combo!
Re: The ideas that I trade by:
The light colored lines are from an old MO idea from the early days in the NLA thread. I was looking to do something with momo, and decided to start with a bar that is 2x the previous bar. What I ended up with is something that is pretty decent for finding short term bias (or longer term, on a higher TF chart).
The logic was simple:
1) bar size is at least 2x the previous bar
2) For up bars, open < midpoint and close > midpoint
3) For down bars, open > midpoint and close < midpoint
It actually does a decent job of finding "blow off" rallies at the end of a trend, besides the expected momo. If there is going to be a reversal, it tends to happen quickly. If the market is just going to "sit," it often does so near one of these lines.

Where is the line plotted? At the midpoint?

Sorry, should have mentioned that! The line is plotted at the midpoint between open and close. I also keep the line in place until there's a new one.

All you have to do is send him to his room.
He can talk all the crap he wants in his own thread.
When he shows the ability to play nice OR starts to post worthwhile information about his own trading then let him out.
It worked for me.
I quit antagonizing others and making fun of their nothing new under the sun trading methods for the most part.
LOL

Hey, I thought we were "suppose" to exit when we hit X%. LOL
You must be bored.
Did you finish that new language?
Can you see your abs?
...
I am 54 pounds lighter since starting Keto; I still have "padding" on my stomach but I wouldn't call myself fat.
I have no plans to exercise *checks calendar* yep, nothing planned until the day I die![]()
My main language of study is Korean (ONE KOREA!), but I make time for other languages as well.
I finish my plans, PRO, not the hopes and dreams and plans of other people.
Ok,
Once I make my million and I'm relaxing @ my Island house in MI admiring my classic cars sitting just off the front porch (along with my AMG) I'll look you up.
You will do a workout or two.

That was a misunderstanding plain and simple
Via written txt instead of face to face convo.
And not on my part.
It is not my fault he left.
He could be here today typing away to his hearts content. (if he is still alive)
He had his own problems.
We are bigger than that.
