I use the MT4 with a variable spread. I have great execution and a Straight Pass Thru. I don't get charge a high commission its a 2 dollar round turn commission per a full lot traded (1 in 1 out)

just a couple quick comments.....
The two links above do not seem to be for the same company, so I do not quite understand...
but the BTRFX site, doesn't give much info, but I downloaded the demo, ready to rail against it...the spreads were high at first, but then they started to go down....they really are variable.
USDJPY varied between 4,3,and 2 pips spread, while I watched...same with Euro.
Interesting. I wonder if it is a legitamite MT4 site that has honest spreads....
Who knows? Not me, but I will look at the demo a little longer.

Mt4 platform is indeed one type which we all have been using since started trading, but there are so many platforms available now days. However, I am keen to continue with Mt4 only which helps me working very nicely without any slippage, spikes or such issues, but yes broker makes the contribution here which is why I go for Fresshforex is above those issues.

I would say that the platform needs to be selected based on its specific tasks. different platforms have different capabilities. I say this as an experienced trader. I’m using 2 trading platforms at the same time simply because you can conveniently see different data that is not in another platform. but this of course is not an option for beginners
