Is it possible for all posts to be contained on a page so that the slide at the bottom of the page is not necessary. Otherwise, the topic is hard to read as are the images.
Thanks.

SJTRADES,
do you mean to narrow down the page? The page width is determined by the widest picture on that particular page. If you narrowed down the page and there were wider pictures on it, you wouldn't be able to see those pictures.
Fatdog said that he is not able to take smaller screenshots since he is taking them on his widescreen 17" notebook. But the size of your screen does not affect the size of your screenshot - you can easily resize the window on your computer, take a screenshot of that (resized & thus smaller) window and you're done.
There are number of free good utilities to capture the screenshot of only the active window and save it directly to the compressed, uploadable jpg format.
You may download this one:

In fact, you don't even need this utility if you are saving the screenshot with Tradestation. You just resize the window prior to taking the screenshot.

- I can only limit the max size of the attachement, not the actual width of the attached picture
- would you like to downsize the pictures so that they fit into the page or to crop them?
- that's a good idea, I will speak to my programmer on the theme of modifying the author column, thanks!
Again, the general rule would be to post images that don't exceed some palatable measures.

SJTRADES,
up until now I have not been able to find an easy way to resize the pictures automatically in the forums. This would also mean that there would be a loss of information. Beside that, occasionally it is useful to post an image that does not fit into the standard width.
Seems like the best way is to post sensibly sized images.

There still is the possibility of putting the poster's info as a header rather than in a side-bar?
I''ll check that, but I only give it about 20% probability since my programmer told me that this would mean to redo a lot of code. I would rather focus on a forum functionality now and we may play with that later. I'll definitely add this request to the long-term queue.

Thanks again.

Fixed. Is it OK now?

It sure would be nice if the Yahoo site contacts could be more structured or directed to your site with topics. I think Yahoo is very convoluted to say the least. Good luck.

We should hold on until TheRumpledOne finishes his recent travel & work schedule on about Jun 14. Avery told us that after that he will switch to the new forums. He is too busy right now I guess.
But I agree that there's no reason for not switching to the new forums sooner for the rest of us. Every new post at that horrible Yahoo forum is a pain
I am receiving 90% of messages from the TRO Yahoo forum that I'm not interested in to get those 10% that are of interest for me. Seems like the majority of Yahoo forum members are reluctant to switch until Avery does so, even when they are discussing the topics that don't directly require Avery's assistance.
