Re: Never Lose Again
Avery--when using the buy zone with Forex, what do you use for the opening time?
Also, do you trade this the same way you do in your MTC method? I'm not sure how the probability stats relate since with MTC we are looking for high prob stocks that have an open + 50 cents. How does this work with Forex pairs?

I use the broker's daily open time. Whatever time a new daily (D1) candle is formed. All daily statistics are computed using that time.
For Forex pairs, I run a frequency distribution the same way I did for stocks to see where the sweet spot lies.

Any HORIZONTAL LINE method. Buy Zone, Rat Zone, Wick Zone, Psycho 00/25/50/75, etc..
My recent fav is trading in the same direction as the previous day's candle color. So simple, yet so profitable.

Okay, thanks. For the frequency distribution, do you mean the frequency of open+[some pip amount] in order to see which forex pairs trade at a high probability above/below that amount? Or do you mean something else?
I saw a recent screen shot where the buy zone for a forex pair was 2 pips (lower zone was 8 pips from open and high zone was 10 pips from open). How did you come about 2 pips for the size of the zone? Since I'm trading using TradeStation (at the moment), that would be too narrow since the pad the spread for their commission fees.
