The only "problem" with putting buy zones at any location is you don't have the statistics!

Using 1 minute opens, an hour chart has 60 different versions. If you run the stats on all 60 versions would they not show you the same thing?
It is true that you do not have the exact numbers for that shift, but it is assumed that price, over x period of time, will expand to meet minimum ranges.

If I give you 7, 30, & 90 day periods, to make as much money as you can, does it matter when you start?
If you started the day prior then your exact numbers will be different but the stats are still based on the constant, YOU.
Likewise, if you give the chart certain periods in which to perform the stats will be based on the pair; not the exact starting point.

Is it beneficial to use your charts opens so that you can trade what you see? Yes.
Maybe adding a tick-countdown timer to the random opens will aid in the trading of random prices...

All this to say that I do not believe that statistics just "disappear" when you use a shift or when you are in the future
and price re-enters a zone.

I have read just about every post since Jan. 2009 so I figured that I would go back to 2007 and catch up :)

TRO, do you still use the Buy-zone to trade stocks at all?

I notice that you had the same idea about the use of charts back then as I do today.
For instance, you gave the advice that one should use the 1-minute chart for the first 5 minutes and then move to the 5-minute.

I thought to myself "wow, 2 years before I even arrived at K-lik TRO instinctively knew that the longer you are in a trade the larger
the period that is being traded".
