I want to add to this....mind is going now.

If i have a 80 percent success rate... I play as long as I can with my $8.... and the tournament is won when I reach lets say $50. My $8 could become 20 then 25...and as I get closer to the goal of $50(or percent) I can back off the risk...?
for longevity i may need to play 3 rounds of $1 and eventually I will hit big I can add to it (stacking) to magnify that win. Tourney is over when i reach $50 I go home, give the cash to the wife :) and go play another tourney?

Another thought.

My best months have been when I traded smaller and didnt go "balls to the walls, or go for broke" I hope im on the right track for what 'space'
is.

by managing lot sizes to aquire more game time without risking more than the initial risk to achieve 10x that amount with same risk.

I usually had bad experiences "going for broke".

The concept of space from a money management
aspect is similar to a poker tournament. You buy in
to a 30 man game with less than 1% of your bankroll
and you leave when you are out of chips or win.

Thats just my interpretation of what MO has shared. In
addition he has creative entry, adding and exit methods
to go along with it.

Im sure you can use stacking with it.

ok

so its not about the entries, the exits, or anything else...its about only risking a set amount and play as long as I can.
If I have to lower bets to play longer so be it...and when i win..add to the pool to play with..UNTIL I reach a set PERCENT goal.
ok....
Movin in the right direction I hope...

You get it. =D>

TOTAL RISK over SPACE

Enter at max. space for maximum risk
or
Enter within space for less risk
or
Enter within space and move your stop
upwards to maximum space from entry.

If space is lost then create space by reducing size.

If space is gained then create more size by reducing space.

Trade to percent targets not through percent targets; complete
the first task and then move to the next.

Years ago I read how Chris "Jesus" Ferguson would risk 5%
per game.
That is a plan to risk 5% over several decisions, but all in
if that is the best play.

Does this sound familiar?

He never allowed himself to buy into a cash game with more than 5% of his bankroll. If, during that game, his stack was more than 10% of his bankroll, then he had to leave the table, immediately.
