explanations to indicators

Postby bertg » Mon Oct 08, 2007 7:08 pm

Hi,

I don't use TS, but am tempted to switch simply because TRO's famed indicators.

I assume the TS motherlodes are collection of TRO's indicators.

My question: are there explanations of what the indicator does, how to use it, how to take advantage of what it calculates? The reason I ask is because there are some of TRO's indys that have been ported to NinjaTrader, but I have no idea how to read or use them.

Thanks,
Bert

Bert,

No, the code that TRO provides is without explanation. If you need an explanation of the indicators you'd be best served by asking TRO specifically what you'd like to know (he has a lot of indicators after all).

Eudaimonia (pron.: you-die-moan-e-a) (Greek: εὐδαιμονία) is a classical Greek word commonly translated as 'happiness'. The less subjective "human flourishing" is often preferred as a translation.

I am wondering what platform you are currently using now and how much you are paying for the data feed?

TRO has a www.paltalk.com session each trading morning when he isn't travelling. Definitely check it out.

I've come to believe that of supreme importance in successful trading is your mental state. In fact I would say nothing else matters if you are a mental mess. I recommend that you read Mark Douglas's Trading in the Zone immediately.

TWO PERCENT CLUB

It's only there when it's open.

Usually open during market hours.
IT'S NOT WHAT YOU TRADE, IT'S HOW YOU TRADE IT!

Please do NOT PM me with trading or coding questions, post them in a thread.

when I look at the beginner forum list, I see TheRumpleOne replied "Yesterday at 7:19 pm." Yesterday would be October 15.

I don't see his reply... What am I missing?

Thanks,
Bert
