and for those who have the solution and are bored now, a little twist: does Albert know the birthday or not if the conversation goes like this?

- Albert: I know that Bernard doesn't know
- Bernard: gosh, I still don't know
- Albert:

and after Albert says if he knows or not, does Bernard
1) finally know
2) doesn't know, or
3) could either know or not know?

I have to admit to not being as able as the 13 year old school child this question was aimed at - and watched a mathematician explain the obvious answer
